PASTOR DAVID L. EDWARDS, III

Pastor David L. Edwards, III began his journey in ministry as a musician for several artists at the age of thirteen. Serving as a musician allowed Pastor Edwards to gain an eclectic background in ministry. Pastor Edwards nurtured his affinity for music by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Tennessee State University. While at Tennessee State University, Pastor Edwards met his wife, Shanae.

At the age of nineteen, Pastor Edwards accepted his Divine calling as a minister of the Gospel.  He continued to seek God concerning his purpose in the Kingdom, and his priorities soon shifted from music to the preaching of the gospel.  In August 2007, Pastor Edwards was ordained as an Elder under the leadership of his spiritual father, Bishop Kelvin L. Leavy, Sr. In 2011, God elevated Pastor Edwards again and he was appointed as the Associate Pastor at Judah Temple of Praise.

Pastor Edwards has been a part of World Assemblies of Restoration (W.A.R.) for seventeen years. He was elevated to Vice President in 2012 and currently serves as the President and Chairman for W.A.R. Youth & Young Adults. He also serves as the Deputy Adjutant General for W.A.R.

Pastor Edwards was led to further his education and earned his Master’s degree in Divinity from Emmanuel Theological Seminary in 2016. In 2017, Pastor Edwards earned his Doctorate degree in Theology from Emmanuel Theological Seminary. On October 15, 2017, he held the first service of Divine Destiny Ministries in Murfreesboro, TN.

Pastor Edwards is embracing his purpose and divine destiny in the kingdom of God as he strives to live by Psalm 27:4 which states, “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.”

    LADY SHANAE EDWARDS

Evangelist Shanae Michelle Edwards was born in Memphis, TN.  At a young age, she expressed a deep affinity for God and his people.  By age five, she began soloing with her church choir.  Immediately, her parents began to cultivate her innate ability to melodiously interpret music. Shanae received rigorous vocal coaching and was exposed to multiple genres, and was challenged to develop into a well-rounded vocalist.

By age sixteen, Shanae’s gift enabled her to begin ministering through song in front of thousands.  She received formal and musical theater training from Central High School in Memphis, TN and Nashville’s Tennessee State University. She has graced the stage with Dorinda Clark-Cole, Beverly Crawford, Vashawn Mitchell, Dr. Bobby Jones and many more.

During her collegiate tenure, Shanae accepted her calling into ministry, and began developing in the area of prayer and teaching. In 2007, she was ordained as an Evangelist under the leadership of Bishop Kelvin L. Leavy, Judah Temple of Praise. This blossoming minister of the gospel strives to bring glory to God in every area of her life. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, she endeavors to lead people of all ages to Christ and develop them through the power of prayer.
